(he/him) Joseph brings a dynamic blend of athletic training, leadership, and hands-on experience to his role as Sports Program Coordinator at Play Patrol. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Joseph is passionate about using movement and mentorship to empower youth through fitness.
Before joining Play Patrol, Joseph worked as a personal trainer at The Exercise Coach in Pennsylvania, where he specialized in applying customized training programs to help clients achieve their physical goals in both one-on-one and small group settings. His prior experience also includes several years as a volunteer instructor at the ShaoLin Center in Waukesha, WI, where he taught martial arts to students ages 7 to 50, fostering a strong sense of discipline, focus, and physical confidence in learners of all levels.
Joseph’s leadership skills were further sharpened in roles such as Crew Leader for Samburg Maintenance and Landscaper with Bronco Landscaping, where he managed teams and projects with precision and care. A former collegiate football player, Joseph earned recognition as Rookie of the Year and Defensive Lineman of the Year, exemplifying his dedication to teamwork, sportsmanship, and athletic excellence.
His well-rounded background—including performance experience with the ShoaLin Lion Dancing Team—makes Joseph a uniquely engaging presence in the classroom and on the field. He is committed to delivering fun, safe, and enriching sports programs that help kids build strength, coordination, and confidence.
