Play Patrol Company’s Summer 2026 programs bring music, movement, and creativity to life for children across PA, NJ, DE, and MD. Kids can explore rhythm and culture through Mister Boom Boom’s Music Adventures, featuring African drumming, bucket drumming, and global instruments, or get active with our Sports, Yoga & Movement programs that build strength, coordination, and confidence. Each program is led by engaging educators who make learning fun, hands-on, and unforgettable all summer long.

Get ready for an unforgettable year of music, movement, and fun! Mister Boom Boom is taking his renowned African Drum Circle and interactive music programs on the road throughout 2026 — bringing rhythm, culture, and creativity to communities across the country.
Northern California — February 22 to March 1
Mister Boom Boom kicks off the tour in Northern California, bringing his hands-on African Drum Circle experience to schools, libraries, and community centers throughout the region.
Southern California — March 2 to 5
The rhythm continues down the coast as Mister Boom Boom visits Southern California, sharing high-energy drumming and interactive music programs with communities across the area.
Colorado — March 6 to 8
Next stop: Colorado! Students and families will experience authentic West African instruments and joyful music-making perfect for cultural events and enrichment programs.
Illinois & Michigan — April 13 to 18
The tour moves into the Midwest as Mister Boom Boom brings his one-of-a-kind program to schools and libraries throughout Illinois and Michigan. These interactive performances are ideal for spring celebrations and educational assemblies.
Texas — April 20 to 25
Mister Boom Boom heads south to Texas, filling schools and community venues with rhythm, learning, and laughter — an exciting lead-up to the summer season.
Georgia & Florida — June 1 to 6
The tour wraps up in the Southeast with visits to Georgia and Florida, where Mister Boom Boom will share the joy of rhythm, movement, and musical exploration with children and families.
Each show features authentic West African hand drums, including the djembe, talking drum, and shekere — all beautifully hand-crafted instruments that children can play during and after the show.

What age groups do you work with?
Our Music Play Patrol program is designed for children ages 3 months and up. Our Sports Play Patrol program is designed for children ages 3 and up.
Where do you provide services?
Our Music and Sports Play Patrol programs are available throughout the Philadelphia region, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Northern Maryland. Mister Boom Boom is available for assemblies and library programs nationwide.
How do I enroll?

Play Patrol visited our preschool with a Drum Program recently. The students (aged toddler thru 5) were captivated, engaged and delighted throughout the entire presentation. Frank kept the students of all ages appropriately engaged and provided ample opportunities for participation. Teachers also were thrilled with the program and everyone agreed that we would definitely have them return!
