Unearth the Beat is an interactive world music experience that introduces students to the rich musical traditions of Asia and the Pacific Islands through rhythm, culture, and hands on participation. Led by nationally recognized children’s performer Mister Boom Boom, this high energy program features authentic percussion instruments, engaging storytelling, and live demonstrations that bring the music of diverse cultures to life.
Students will discover how rhythm connects people around the world as they explore traditional instruments, learn about their cultural significance, and participate in exciting call and response drumming activities.
